Count me on your side Fox News!
The White House is making a big mistake by attacking Fox News . Fox News represents the views of people like me far more often than does CNN. Left-wingers are so used to having the mass media spout their views that they are shocked and alarmed when a large media outlet like Fox News champions the conservative cause on a regular basis. Good for Fox News. They are the best thing to happen to America in decades. They are even better than BHM with our championing of Libertarian views. The White House really hates Glenn Beck, who is positively Libertarian.
America is in a major backlash against Obama’s socialist agenda. He’s taken creeping socialism and turned it into aggressive socialism. That was a mistake for socialist strategy. Too many people have finally taken notice of what is happening in America. Now he attacks Fox News, which is the only powerful TV media standing up against the socialist onslaught. Count me on your side Fox! We Libertarians understand that Fox is an important beacon of hope in a media dominated for too long by ultra left-wing ideology. If Fox News is biased toward the right, so what! CNN has been totally biased toward the left for decades. Now things are more balanced.

Dittos on Fox News Channel! I’ve been subscribed to the Dish family package for 7 years where FNC is the only major news outlet that I can receive, although Headline News is there. I live so far out that I can’t get any of the so-called major “free” networks so thank God I also don’t get NBC, ABC, CBS, or PBS. Personally I like to hear all sides of an issue presented fairly which usually only confirms my conservative common-sense values.
Since 1976 (Gerald Ford vs. Jimmy Carter) I’ve voted for all the Republican candidates in every election. Last year I voted for Alan Keyes in the Republican primary, then John McCain in the general election. I knew that the only difference would have been either liberal-light or liberal extreme but I did it anyway thinking that the lesser of two evils would be the best. NEVER AGAIN!
I’ve since decided that I will never vote Republican or Democrat again and I’m currently further researching the Libertarian Party and the Constitution Party. I would rather my vote helped to elect a more liberal candidate because I think that the quicker the country fails, then the sooner the people will understand the folly of their choices and the sooner we can begin to rebuild America based on the Constitution. That’s definitely going to be a tall order in an “American Idol” society but I know that my next vote is going to actually count for something.

I was just talking to a friend about this exact issue yesterday. He said that the liberal media this and the liberal media that…I pointed out that there’s an entire news channel pretty much dedicated to the conservative view point and he shrugged it off, more interested in finding something to complain about than talking about how things actually are. Like the last poster, I’ve determined that I’m going to start voting for the people who best reflect my personal views rather than the one that conflicts the least with my beliefs. I hope FOX will help in that regard by providing a counter view to the liberal cheerleading that just gets old after a while. Thanks for writing articles like this, it’s nice to see journalism in any form that is concerned with constructive change rather than name calling and nay-saying.

It was, and still is, my opinion that the government did a ‘trial’ when they bullied people – and used liberals’ weaknesses (pride)- to bully people who smoke. I’m not saying it is or isn’t good for you, but it was a personal choice. The ‘trial’ appears to have worked as being politically correct has become our way of life. It’s ok to cheat on a spouse, cheat and steal if you work for the government, drink alcohol, and use profanity in public, but a smoker is an evil person. The government has this much power because the masses have handed it over on a silver platter. The old saying ‘Pride before destruction’ applies to the state we currently find ourselves. We should not vote for any democrat or republican. New blood in the government is needed. And if the new becomes like the old, elect others until a group does what WE want and need.
