A postscript is in order here. Annie was a lot sicker than I thought. The ER doctor debriefed her the morning of her discharge day (Friday) and said she was in shock with a heart rate of 160 and blood pressure of 80/40 when she came into the ER on Tuesday, and had she waited another 6-8 hours she could well have gone into irreversible shock leading to death.

The whole world can change in an instant. Thank God it didn’t for us.

I’ve also prayed for Annie. She does such a great job with the magazine and her family is beautiful. My daughter just went through a few days of worry that she was losing her baby and I do know how worried y’all must’ve been. Thanking God now that Annie is doing better!
