Sometimes chickens don’t get it right
Our chickens started laying again a few weeks ago, giving us four or five eggs a day. These are mainly older birds with only three new chicks that are laying for the first time. I don’t know which one blew her assigned duties, but Sam found this egg in the chicken house the other day.
It has the texture of a balloon filled with water.

I watched one of my young pullets lay one of these last year…weirdest thing I’ve ever seen or felt… so it’s probably one of your new ones. The outside casing was surprisingly thick.

This usually happens when the hens are not getting enough calcium to produce a shell. Check out the supply of oyster shell or what ever you use to provide calcium.

I suspected the same thing so did increase their oyster shell after this egg.
