People must think we’re doing drugs

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

While going through the box of BHM T-shirts we plan to send to the MREA Energy Fair, I noticed we have several colors we no longer sell through the magazine. One, in fact, is a light gray that is my favorite. I decided to look in the current issue (No. 111) to see which colors we sell, and to my amazement the order form on page 113 lists the colors black, forest green, and blue, but for reference it refers readers to an ad on page 56 that shows the colors red, gray, and purple.

Egad! No wonder we’re not selling too many T-shirts. People must think we’re high on drugs.

We’ll take every color we have to the show, then redesign the T-shirts with something a little more dramatic and less prone to error. Earlier today Lisa and I started going through past paintings by Don Childers to see what we could come up with. We kind of like Issue No. 16, which features a coyote howling at the moon. I also called Don and asked him to do a new painting specifically for a new T-shirt. See you at the show.
