I live in Alabama. I know all about hot. A couple of weeks ago I was mowing the lawn and got a horrible sunburn on the back of my neck. I immediately bathed in cool water with lavendar oil. Then I applied Lavendar oil straight. The burn left immediately and it healed nicely. I enjoy your site and your magazine. Thanks for sharing your knowlege.

Many blessings to you and yours, Cammy

I did throw aloe on it. The lack of humidity in the air makes Southern California where you live a much more livable place. Happy Father's Day to you too, Joe.

Ouch. I feel your pain, Dave. I've had a similar patterns on the tops of my feet thanks to the sun along the beaches of the Carolinas. I got a nice red burn above my knees while mowing on the tractor in shorts for five hours yesterday, but at least it was cooler out than it has been.

You picked a heckuva time to come with temperatures in the South spiking last week. I was in Greenville North Carolina mid-week and told my brother that if Hell has a sauna it must be in Greenville. I imagine it was about the same in your daughter's neck of the woods.

I live in the piedmont of North Carolina and Topsail is my favorite beach area ( though I am from Western North Carolina and prefer the hills). I hope you and your family have had a fun visit.
