Gavin’s fever is down today so the swine flu watch ended as quickly as it began. Meanwhile my three teenage sons got their H1N1 nasal spray vaccine this morning plus a seasonal flu shot.

Good for you guys! Yeah, the flu kills a lot every year, but for whatever reason, the fact that the H1N1 strain is affecting the young and the pregnant so much more than usual is disturbing on deep levels. I’m assuming they’ll have to go back for a second dose of the H1N1 vaccine, but the peace of mind is so worth it.
