Jackie,

Our Lab mix dog, Nikita, who is now 11 years old used to climb ladders and scaffolding if my husband was working on something. She always seemed to get back down though. I cannot remember us bringing her down. She even climbed up on those wooden swing sets that have slides and stuff when some children we lived next door to were playing on it. She did it all the time. My husband was painting the neighbor's house and she climbed up the scaffolding to the second floor to be up there with him. Sadly, she can't do it anymore....but she still wants to.

I think I would have freaked if I saw a bear out in the berry patch with me. I haven't seen one yet here but we know they are around.

So funny! Spencer sounds like a great dog, what would we do without our furry friends. We don't have raspberries, but have been taking advantage of all the blackberries this year, love 'em! Everything is looking so good on your homeplace.
