Write for Backwoods Home

Did you know most of the articles that appear in Backwoods Home Magazine are not written by 'professionals'? They're written by folks who want to share a tip or trick for doing something or just want to share what they've learned.

Backwoods Home is always looking for new writers. If you might like to join the Backwoods Home family of authors, please Click Here to review our Writers' Guidelines.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

How to "Ignore" a member

How to add a member to your "Ignore List":

In the dark green menu bar above, click on "Member CP." Under "Settings & Options", click on "Edit Ignore List". Then, type the member's Forum Name into the empty text box and click 'Okay'.

From then on, the text of their posts will not be displayed to you.

You can remove anyone from your list at any time and all their posts will again display to you.

Copying from other websites

Please note that if you copy information from another website or blog or wherever, you MUST post proper attribution, including a link to the page on which the information was found.

Best practice is to post a few paragraphs and a link back to read more unless you have been given permission to post the whole thing.

If you are ever unsure, please PM the admin for guidance.

Thank you!
