Offered in fellowship to all members. Enjoy!!

"Gas prices continue to rise. *How can you cut costs? *Ride a bike, get fit, save some cash, preserve the environment, and have fun."

"Even if you only ride occasionally, the savings of bicycling instead of driving are substantial—and you probably already own a bike!"

Cost to drive vs cycling .....a calculator.

Good on you, Buck! I'm a big supporter of cycling. My Dad and I had a shop for nearly 10 years. I keep a good inventory (stash) of brake and derailluer cables and housing, brake pads, spokes and nipples, chains and other misc 'just in case'. We're headed there, bro.

My employer provides a health and wellness benefit, which offers up to $300 in reimbursement for exercise equipment, gym memberships, etc.

I'm considering using it to buy a 7-speed cruiser for my daily commute. *Save on bus fare as well the gas I need to drive from home to Park-N-Ride. *Kill two birds with one stone. * ;)

Thanks for the link, Buck. I discovered even if the cost for the bike + accessories was completely out-of-pocket, it would pay for itself in about 6 weeks time!
