Help ! When signed on, everything is well, but many times I just drop by to read without posting, and without signing in, and for some unknown reason, my computer had decided to ignore all of walls0stone's posts ?? I have not chosen this. Does anyone have a solution for this ?? Thanks in advance.

Definately not intentional walls0stone, probably a cockpit error on my part. I'm not much of a computer jockey, I crash 'N burn a lot.

hey rick, took me a minute, pull up any thread with walls in it, at the top of the box there is an un ignor button click that.

Wow, thanks Logan. I knew it would be cockpit error, I looked everywhere but the obvious place for that button and could not find it. Still strange though, if I was signed in, it did not ignore him, only if I'm not signed in. Oh well, these things have a mind of their own. Machinery, I do, electronic wizardry really makes me scratch my head. Thanks again.

Well, my gremlin still lives. In the unsigned in, there is no ignore button for anyone, and walls0 is somehow still ignored ???
Signed in, I can control it.

Talking to yourself is one thing. Answering yourself is another. If you're ignoreing yourself... uhh - let's not think about that one :P .
I've had that 'unintentional ignore' happen also. Wall is currently ignored unless I'm logged in. I think Hunter was before that. It's only one member at a time and sporadic. Must be a glitch in the machine?

This looks like a job for Oliver..
I'll contact him..

PS.. Let your change brew for a while in the system and check again. It may not be updated yet..

If you are not signed in the forum probabley doesn't know who you are. You probabley won't have full capabilities as a GUEST. ???
I have used the IGNORE button and it is nice. ;D

Mebby a silly question..
Why would you enter the site without being logged in?

Just to " hide and watch," to see what is going on.
Kind of like "in cogneto."

That was good Ozark ! Now if 12v says anything he doesn't like, he can ignore himself. * :D
But Naughty, why would it pick on ONLY *walls0 ? *That's what I don't understand ? And you say he is ignored to you also ?

I did not IGNORE wallso, it was someone else, I will not say who it is.

My point was..
Why would I ignore anyone when I need to see everything that's goin' on....LOL Kinda an oxymoron, wouldn't ya say.. ;D

You can ignore posters that just want to flame people or that just seem to want to cause trouble.
That is why I ignored *********. ;D

OK, I am not one who talks a lot, but I am interested in what many people have to say. I was taught early that one cannot learn with ones mouth open, so I have a habit of trying to keep mine closed, and listen, is that wrong ? Besides, it is a bit of a pain to sign in, which is of my own doing, therefore if I don't feel strongly about commenting, I don't. I'm sure there are many people who listen to what others have to say, but choose to remain silent. Normally, if there is a situation where I can make a contribution, I do so. If that is wrong, I'm sorry.

That's fine, rr. Everyone has their own policies..
I just see it as a pain to log in every time and if I wanna remain silent, (which I do alot) I just don't post..

That was good Ozark ! Now if 12v says anything he doesn't like, he can fix it.
But Naughty, why would it pick on ONLY *walls0 ? *That's what I don't understand ? And you say he is ignored to you also ?
Rick. I hope I'm reading you wrong as that was not my intent. Don and I have had some good chats and we have no qualms. I think it's just a glitch in the program. I, too, sometimes just want to skim over the latest posts without having to log in. Then I go mow the yard.
Logging in demands that I reply to/make a post or I have to Refresh every time I change threads.
It seems to me that, as I said, it's sporadic. The glitch might last 3 days or go away in 3 hours.
I logged out 30 min ago and came back as a Guest and Wall is no longer Ignored. Go figure!
Anyone remember Marvin the Martian from the Bugs Bunny Show? "Oh Drat, these computers! So naughty and so complex. I could pinch them." ;D

Ozark. Not sure who misread what, but Please rest assured I meant no ill will here to anyone. We were making light of the whole situation, and that's exactly where I hope it is. Anything I said that caused a hiccup, please accept my apology for it. No way was that my intention. I was joshin' about the fact that 12v brought up about being able to ignore himself. Truth is, I am gratefull for any help you all can offer on my delima, and hope we were having a bit of fun with it, I was. Thanks for your help, and for all who were/are trying.

Rick, you're cool by me. Even with all of the Smileys we have to choose from, it's sometimes hard to get a message across in plain English. No apology needed. I also read Typo. ;D

You need to see everyones posts. Me, if I don't like someones' attitude I can ignore them. :)

Thank you 12vman, and whomever had part in slaying my gremlin. My machine no longer has walls0stone on ignore. For future reference, do I need to know what the problem was ? Also thanks to all who tried to help. Was it cockpit error ? :D

I believe there is a bug somewhere in the script that generates an Ignore file for Guests. I've no idea how or why or under what circumstances, but it's a rare occurrence.
I suppose if I spent enough time at it I could figure out what's doing it, but time is one thing I don't have in excess.
If it happens again, please PM or email me so I can remove the file again.
Thanks.

Oliver. I'm happy to report that I haven't experienced any unintentional Ignores, logged in or not, in the past 2 wks.
Maybe you've been burning the midnight oil? ;)
