I was going through a box of things my Aunt had left me. I found an envelope full of old paper money. All of it foreign and starting in 1892 and the newest 1942.
The countries are Germany, Italy, France, Algeria and Russia I think.. I am guessing at some because I just don't know...
Question, is there somewhere on the web that I can find out about this money?
Help!!
thanks chloe
Chloe, ask around to see if you can find a coin dealer.
Sometimes they deal in paper money or know someone
who does. Paper money collectors are kinda rare but they
are out there.
Use your head doing this and don't trust.....to much. ;)

Have you try'd looking on Ebay? It might give you some kind of comparison, or a general idea. They do sell old bills on ebay.

Thanks, msta999 and Buck. I will see what I can find on e-bay and check in the e-bay forums.
Buck, don't know of any kind of coin dealer unless it's in Austin. You got that right on not trusting especially since I don't know a thing about the value..
Thanks chloe

One more thought....there are books published for the coin collector
market that list values and photos. Some of them have paper too.
Ask at your library or shop a book store (or Hey! the net!) to see if
you can find your own info.
