I frequent a number of forums. On most of them whenever I post a comment on a thread, I am then 'subscribed' to that thread.

So whenever anyone responds to my post, I get an email. Through out the day whenever I can check my email, I see what conversations have been updated, and I can maintain my end of those conversations.

It appears that here, I am not getting any subscriptions to threads.

Alas I go through the sub-forums which appear interesting to me, and I may comment on threads. But if I do not think about it for a week, I may not come back through those same sub-forums for a while.

I came here today, and I read a question addressed to me, which I did not realize anyone had said a thing. So now I have responded, but I would like to be able to respond more quickly.

There will always be times when due to our livestock or crops, when I simply will be too busy, however I do try to keep up on the conversations.

How do I go about getting this forum to keep me updated?

I have wondered this same thing. It doesn't appear, however, that there is a way to subscribe to a thread on this particular forum. Unusual, eh?

Although we don't have that function on this forum, you can see your last (or anyone else's) 5,10 or 50 posts if you click on your screen name - and you can check up quickly that way.

This was set up more as an informational, rather than conversational forum. I don't know if enough requests come in, if that could be changed, though. It doesn't hurt to ask! ;)
