Hey its been a spell or two since i last been on (more like a dog's age!)
I'm doin A-Ok

Wish i could say the same for my Civil Air Patrol squadron....It's comin unglued.

School? Don't even ask. back to the people who hate me guts with a passion. wonderful...

Glad to see you posting again!

But your post brought up more questions than answers. Talk about it here if you feel like it, or send a PM if you don't want the discussion to be public.

School and it's attending lessons on group dynamics can be the pits. For those that hate you with a passion - they are dealing with an unpleasant *soup of immaturity, boiling hormones, insecurity, and in some cases, rank stupidity. Once you understand the recipe you can decide to avoid tasting that dish as much as possible!

When I was fresh out of the service and returned home my best friends father was in command of the local CAP. He set me loose on them to drill for their parades and such , what a grand time watching these youngsters scramble to learn their drill, but within the next couple few years (the late 80s early 90s) the interest in such programs declined. A few years after that they picked back up. I guess thats the way of most things.

As far as being an acquired taste to those around you, do not take it personal when the sheep do not like being called sheep, they lack the fortitude to walk a true to themselves path, theirs is a choice to walk the trail everyone else does and that puts the folks who walk alone on the outs.

If you were not so close to right with your position, they wouldn't hate your guts for pointing out the obvious.

Yeah, but these sheep think of themselves as wolves.

Or in the case of three people in my debate class, the hottest thing since Sol.

Coincidentally, those three are the only people I've ever wanted to see smashed between two freight trains speeding at 230Mph
