Hiya Everyone.

Just a quick post to let all my friends here know I am healing pretty quickly, Already My arm works again, & I am getting off the painkillers, so my mind works again, & have been spending my days on the pc, rather than sleeping all the time (Morphine has a way of makin ya do that) I'm also finally eating real, solid food again (yay) as my jaw's no longer wired shut..

So this means ya'll will be seeing my Ugly Mug on here a bit more in the future. :) than ya have in the recent past.

So tho I have tyo go for now, as I'm expecting company from the church, I'll be back soon :)

When i read the other day that you were in tenn., I thought of bringing you a pizza.

Where are you?

It'd be nice to meet some friends and neighbors from nashville if sue is up to it. No prolmises. I depend upon her or everything. Bill doesn't drive anymore at all.

I think tenn andy live near here, too.

Take care, and glad you now spend more time on the p.c. than in la la land. Ha! love, alma

I'd like to say, Thank You All for your support, & your prayers !! It lifted me when I thought I was too far down. The prayer's worked, Besides healing, mentally, & physically, I have found a spiritual side of me that I didn't know was there. (So keep praying)

this has been the toughest year out of my 38 years alive. After losing my fiancee, I thought I didn't care to live or die, but the accident showed me I wanted to live, & tho it was a rough struggle to find the will to do so, I did find it, & tho I had given up on God, he hadn't given up on me, & he's restoring my mental health, AND my physical health, and I want you, my friends to know, my spiritual health is on the mend too.

I wanna thank a few people for their kindness: Carol ann, who sent me a letter It took me 3 days to read, cause the morphine had me in it's grips, but once I read it all the way thru, I reread it daily, to show myself, that life isn't all Gravy, some of it is the Fat, & it picked me up whenever I read it !! I would so much like to meet you, & to see you in your "Outfit" you'll never know how much !! Thank you for the comfort in needed times.

All the staff at BHM the card cheered me up greatly & made me feel much loved, when I felt so unloved. Ya'll are forever in my heart !!

Nancy, your recent offer touched me like you could never imagine. A biker or not, a kindness is NEVER forgotten. I Promise that !!

& To all that prayed, or wished me well, it was your faith in me, & your love for me that pulled me through this. it wasn't easy, but you made me not want to let you, or myself down. & for that I'm forever a friend, & forever grateful.

so to you all, I missed you a bunch, & I'm SO glad to make it back !!!

:)

It's good to hear you're up and about again and getting your mental process back on track along with you're spiritual life in check. Understanding you've taken some hard knocks, gaining the victory over them is a milestone and a memory to be used as life does go on.

Pashaw. ;)

You have more guts than 90% of us do to be able to have such a great attitude after all you have been though in the last year.

You are my hero.

I just wish I lived closer to you and could offer you a place to live until you get on your feet again. And you will!!!

Definately, welcome back!

Regarding a Tennessee meeting, it would be nice to meet some people that live around here.

Alma, don't I owe you a lunch? :)

So glad you are back!!! Yes! We WILL keep praying!!!

Sometimes it seems that when we are down the lowest that's when we really find our peace with God...what is that old saying "when you have nothing left but God, you find God is enough."

I've been there so I know! So glad you are improving and we'll keep happy thoughts!!!!

DV8:
Sue says you are about 4 hours from nashville. If that is so, then i know a trip to see you and others is out, but i still think that forum people anywhere near your area could use this as an occasion to get together.

If we could all meet nearer nashville, that would be great for me, but i am sure that you would not be up to it, YET.

Maybe in a few months, some of us could meet an hour away from nashville closer to you, when you are up to it.. Sue says that would be ok.

Hey, Andy, if you live near nashville, i'd buy YOU lunch just to meet someone from the forum

Ivey (smokey) and sue and i went foraging a few times a couple of years back. He is a great guy. Maybe he is still lurking around the forum, though i haven't heard from him in months and we could all meet with anyone nearby.

I'll let all you guys take it from here. I am not an organizer., that's or sure.

DV8, whatdya think? love, alma
