Online log home learning?

Not sure where to post this.. so here goes:

Has anyone come across a home-study/eschool for building a log home? I know I want to do it myself.
I have stumbled on a few people that sell a CD course, but I'd like to be able to ask the teacher questions as I'm building.. surely it must be available with the new computer age..?
I haven't decided exactly what to build yet, but I have land, time and the passion.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Many thanks - your wishing me luck has played it's part in getting what I want.. a friend on another forum found what I need. He just googled "eschool log homes" (DAWP!)

That's great you found the info you need. I notice most (all) of them are the vertical style. I think (think not sure yet) that I would like to do the old horizontal type house. I realize vertical has its advantages. One of these days I will get around to making a drawing of what I dream of. I am still concentrating on finding the right land to buy. Land is so high now its hard to find what you want on a budget. Keep me posted on your progress can't wait to see what you come up with. Best of luck.
