Outback vs Xantrex inverters

Are the Xantrex and Outback inverters equal in ease of install and reliability? I have the option of using 1 Xantrex SW5548 or 2 Outback 3648's in my new system. Has anyone seen any objective reviews on the web?

I think they were desined by the same guy, he sold trace [became zantrex], then started outback.

I have met the outback crew several times and think they are good guys, but I bought a used trace sw2500, and I expect it to run for a long time.
