DK, Do you know the story behind the picture at the bottom of your post? The one with the shepperds lined up and the cat? I have seen it several times before but just wondered about it.

Ya just gotta smile everytime you see it. :)

oh sorry nancy.....this one almost slipped by. i saw a really crappy printout of the real pic on my insurance agent secretary's wall. it was funny & i asked her if she could get a better copy. she said she couldnt so i google'd it & found a nice one & printed it out on photo paper & in color. then i made it into a signature as you see in my posts.

i am not sure if this is some sort of german shepard breeding place with the house cat that they all know or how this pic came about. & you prolly know the history behind the text :)

I saw it years ago and if I remember it was military dogs that were lined up and I can't remember if the cat was on purpose or it just happened.

It always makes me smile. :)

I saw it in an article once myself. I thought the point was showing how well they had trained the dogs...lol

That would be my guess DV8.

Looks like they were not real concerned about the puddy tat.

i guess it could be some training....but maybe just to sit. there are too many farms around here with dogs, cats, chickens or whatever & if you train them right....or sometimes if they train each other they learn to get along just fine & not eat each other.. its a great pic though.

Yer right DK. it's amazing how the animal kingdom will take care of itself sometimes. I read a story of a bobcat that raised a litter + 1 - a tabby kitten..

& when My Dog & Cat both had litters I often saw a puppy at my Cat's tet..

Nature sure can be interesting !!
