Faye, I know you are in south Alabama....we were praying for you yesterday during the bad bad weather.

Are you O.K.? did the storms hit your area hard?

please let us all know. I can find your address but not your phone number or I would have called!

SUZY---I was worried about both of you---

I have Fayes' phone number next door--i'll go get and pm it to you!!

That was a horrible mess.
Terrifying--no time to run or get to safety----my heart just breaks for all those parents of the High school kids.

I'm fine, ya'll. We just got thunderstorms but none really bad. My heart is just breaking for the families of all those killed here in Alabama as well as Georgia and the little girl in Missouri. We just have to accept that these things happen but it sure is hard to hear about. I really hated it about that bus accident in Atlanta, also.

Faye,
I'm so glad to hear that you are okay, I'm just getting to the forum today, but I have been thinking about you.
I sure hope you have a safe place to go to when the storms come. Up here we all have basements and we sure use them. Last summer there was a tornado funnel about a mile away and we all headed to the basement.
I forgot that Suzy was in Alabama, I was thinking she lived in Arkansas, glad that she is okay also.

If I had a basement it would be a swimming pool! The water table is to high around here. We do sometimes get small tornados but this area, for some reason I don't understand, doesn't usually have the big storms. Thank God. I guess it can happen it just doesn't usually. I am still scared of them and would like to have a storm shelter.
