Was 58oF when I finally crawled out of bed this morning, probably got down a few degrees cooler than that officially but I'm not sure. It's pretty windy out and somewhat overcast, predicted high for today is 70oF and tonight's predicted low is 53oF.
I realize compared to lots of you that's warm but since it's so windy it's kinda chilly, was glad I wore sweat pants and carried a windbreaker.
What's it like in your neck of the woods?

fallen..?what do you mean fallen, I am still waiting for indian summer here. unless yesterday was it. It went to 80 and I took my shirt off. (nobody sees me here) as I picked up the last of the green tomaotes, piled up all the vines. It has been raining all afternoon steady and solid. sure looks like we are in the middle of fall. I hope it dries up soon, we do not have all our winterwood in the dry.
Rainy, low 80's. I think it is supposed to cool down a little this weekend but heck it will warm back up in a couple days, after all this is lower Alabama!

I've had my A/C unit completely off for over a week now so my rent statement should reflect that some in the electric line. I've also had the two fans on low most of the time so that will also help! Doing a little more cooking so the gas will be up a smidge but not enough to really concern me. I LOVE this cool weather!

It's getting really pretty out, now. We have had several hard frosts and only the peas are still alive.
We are going to Columbia Missouri in 8 days time, and most of the leaves will have fallen then. Too bad! I would have LOVED to admire the leaves all the way down!

Rose, its great to see you back and posting again!
Our autumn lasted about a minute. We got a hard frost before the leaves had a chance to ripen and turn pretty, so they just turned brown and fell off all at once! It's 50o today, supposed to snow tonight, so we'll have snarles tomorrow! ;)

It's supposed to get down to 48oF tonight, nice snuggling weather. For me it'll be a "one dog and at least 3 cat" night. Nothing like shared body heat to keep a person warm and since the pets run a higher temp naturally that helps. LOL
