Walter passed away at the end of July. Got an email from Bonnie.
She said it was ok to share the news if I would like to with people that knew them. Onward and Upward, Walter! Namaste!
...
Sorry to let you know that Walter died suddenly, at age 58, on 07/23. He had had untreated high blood pressure (since we have no health insurance), & had 2 bleeds into the brain, the 2nd fatal. His organs were donated, & we had him
cremated.

Since his dad had just undergone cancer surgery, & his brother was scheduled to undergo hip surgery, I followed through with contacting all of his local friends while planning a memorial ceremony at a Thai restaurant. Then my mom went through lumbar surgery, I performed a Rehearsal & Wedding, the completely
crashed & ended up in the hospital for 10 days. Besides all that, my 7-yr old grandniece died of a brain aneurism before Walter died, & on the day I was released from the hospital, 1 of our 4 cats needed to rushed to a vet hospital for a 2nd urinary blockage. Suffice it to say that it's been a memorable 2 months ...

Please pass the word around BWH, if you like. I just didn't have the heart to go back there just now, although I know that Walter has been on the Boards.

Hope all is well with you? It would be great to hear some upbeat stories!

Regards,
Bonnie

Namaste, Walter, however you want to say it...

Will miss you. Till we meet again when words won't get in our way of understanding...

Bummer. Rest in Peace, Walter.

He was a good guy. He and I used to argue, but it was all in good fun and never got mean. He was very intelligent, as is Bon.

I will pray that Bonnie will be comforted and strengthened.

I am so sorry to hear that one of our cyber family friends had passed on.
I really liked him, and you too, bon, and hope you will join us again soon.
What a bummer of a year for you all.
Life just ain't fair when so many decent people have to suffer so much. love, alma

BWH has lost one of the finer posters---I am deeply saddened by this news----

Please give Bonnie my best--thanks you Eagle.

I butted heads with both of them, but they were deep thinkers to say the least. Walter and I even got to agree on some things after a while.

Prayers sent.

I'm so sorry to hear of Walter's passing. I loved when both he and Bonnie posted regularly and missed hearing from them when they stopped.

Walter was quite the wit. I remember nearly spewing when he referred to the sheeple as Borg. :D

Yes, I was quite totally devastated when I heard this! I loved both of them, and had, unfortunately not kept up with them too much after they'd dropped of this forum.
Again, two of the greatest, and the passing of Walter has the effect of lowering the average of WAY TOO MANY of the good things the hu-man population has brought to this planet---intelligence, love, communicative abilities, laughter---wow, this list could go on for a VERY long time!
Like so many of the rest of you, I wish walter ( the way he spelled it here) Namaste! And, Bon, should you read this (I'll try to get time to repeat it on that "other forum"), Namaste to yourself, as well!

I saw this a while back and didn't know what to say. I still don't know what to say. At first I was PO'd at the internet because I figured I never would have known he passed if it wasn't for the internet. But then I never would have "met" Walter.

Everyone knew he was an intelligent man but I think he was a pretty cool dude too.

see you out there somewhere, walter.
