books should help you understand the best way to
deal with your find.

My hub collected stamps for years, and also ran a stamp trading buisness. There are so many variables that it is impossible to tell you what they might be worth. I don't know if you would be able to find the information on ebay or not. A Scotts stamp collecter catologe might help but you would need to know what to look for. The things collectors look for are, how common was the stamp, any differences in ink colors, the number of perferations on the sides, any printing errors, if it was cancled(sent, some are worth more cancled some are not), and the list goes on. If you can find a stamp collectors group that might be you're best bet. They could tell you its value if any. If you need any more info you can P.M. me.
