The wifey and I have been in the middle of a weight loss deal for the last 2 months. Well, 2 months for me, and 4 months for her I think!
She has lost a grand total of 45 lbs over a 4 month period. I have lost a grand total of 30 lbs over a 2 month stretch too.
We have been walking 3 miles in the mornings and another 3 miles in the evenings most days now, and it seems to be helping a lot.
I have also been doing some stretching and lifting some weights every morning for about 30-45 minutes also. I think it is helping me tone up some.
We both are trying to get to our target weight (goal) by Christmas time or a little beforehand.
She wants to be in her 130s and I want to be in my 175 lb or so range. We both have went down in clothes size a couple sizes or more.
I went from wearing jeans in a 38 relaxed fit- to a 34 Regular fit.
She said yesterday that- it wouldn't be very long now- that she will most likely go down another bra size to (I think maybe a 36 C or something similar ( ::))
She is on a little bit different diet than I am. She gets to eat 6 small meals a day (very strict food regiment), and I more or less eat 2 regular size meals in the evenings, and a small (crash diet meal) for breakfast---(like 2 boiled eggs, and some grapes- with absolutely NO Salt) .
That's the key on this diet we both are on= (Eating with absolutely No Salt) , also (no Oil). She doesn't eat bread at all in this diet of her's, but I get to- as long as I don't go overboard with it!
We both snitch on the diet every once in a while, and kindof splurge a little (about once a week, or every two weeks). One thing is this---- we try to double up after doing so for the next 2 or 3 days to cancel out the mess up's! ???
