...and Goodmornin! I'm new here,and would like to introduce myself,,,per say.
I'm a 57yr old proud American, living in the North-Woods for now...but getting ready to move back to my beloved West. I have lived in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Colorado, and California in the past. I was born and raised in Michigan, but when I first set foot in the Mountains I knew I was in my real home. I have been an adventurer/gypsy most of my life, but now I stay in spots a bit longer than I have been known for.
I'm a cancer survivor,,,since 8/28/08 and I'm just cantankerous enough to live much longer. The most important thing to me is Family...2nd is Food! ;D
I look forward to accessing all you knowlegable people here, and having good natured chats and maybe some good ole yarns to share.

Relax and enjoy because even if you see nothing that opens your peepers then wait 2-3 minutes--it'll change.

Lots of good info stuff on here and I love readin most of it but at 72 it is doubtful that I'll be 'chunkin it all' anytime soon and hookin em out to the boonies.

Nope--sort of stuck in my place with all the goodies and have grown accustomed to it--sooooo--change--not me and not now.

Yo Johnny...I'm sure glad you didn't give me that crap about "you're only as old as you feel"...because I usually tell people that say that..."Then I must be 157".
I have 2 stents in my heart, very high blood pressure, two back surgery's, and now the Dam Cancer. I'm a basket case buddy!! Have I got ya cryin yet? *:D
You probably took better care of yourself over the years, then I have, and now I'm paying for it. I will be lucky to make it to 67...let alone 72. Congratulations Johnny for getting this far. *;)

Didnt help 2 bros as they left me in 04 and 05 so now am an only child.

BP good and no other probs at the moment so stay out of the docs office as the only thing that hangs out there is a bunch of sick old folks so as you see--I am out of place so dont go.

Buy a small bottle of ibuprofin a year and that plus my flu shot usually does me.

Dont drink and havent smoked for past 18 months so maybe that helps too but believe mostly its just good clean livin and eatin good--by that I mean if its good then I eat it--ha.

Yep--lifes hell but it still beats the alternative--or so I'm told!

Thank You Grizz,,,I like the "Green Banana's" joke. I'll have to remember that. My wife doesn't like me in chat-rooms...thinks some gal will influence me then steal me away! Ha Ha!! So I'm allowed in forums only. :-/ You know there's a lot of women out there lookin for ole geezers. ;)
