Hello everyone my name is Staci, Im 22, currently stationed at Ramstein Germany, serving in the USAF and I am from south-west Arkansas. I love the outdoors, riding horses, camping, farming, and gardening and I miss it. Being here has kept me from most of the thing that I love except for travel and good food but sometime you just got to do what you think is necessary even if you have to give up the things that you love. Not only am I getting to serve my country and am trying to do my part in helping fix this horrible mess that were in im also getting my school paid for; Im getting my degree in Environmental Studies and Fish and Game Management. Hopefully when I get out I can get a job with the State or the county.
I absolutely love the Backwoods Home Magazine and I look forward to getting everyone that comes in the mail (even thought there always a couple of weeks late due to the distance it has to swim, thank God for the web version that I get to peek at). I look forward to getting to read about and talk with people of likeminded values and interests. THANK GOD FOR BHM!

Hi Staci, I was in Germany in 1958-60. Beautiful country. I hope you are venturing out into the countryside and meeting the real people, out and away from the city life. I loved that and was surprised how similar those folk are to us.
Thank you for standing guard for us, and for being there. We appreciate you more than you know. Please tell all the troops thanks from home, and that the real people are with you and pray for your safety. Godspeed Staci.
PS Isn't Ramstein in Weisbaden ? I loaded up there many times as well as several more bases in Europe.
