;DHello I am a real person. I have subscribed to BHM for about 6 months and finally have joined the forum. *I am starting my first garden this year and will be canning what I can harvest. My husband is in the Army and I am a student of Nursing and a SAHM.

Welcome Wifey. Just came in from watering my garden and already have radishes and beets up. Peas are trying real hard to poke through. This weekends warm weather should do the trick.

Ohh my I am jealous.. I want so badly to put my plants in the garden. For now I am just getting things organized and ready in the garden. I had DH put up a conversation patio set and a chiminea so I can light a morning fire and enjoy coffee in the garden.

I am doing cucumbers for pickling, a salsa garden, jack o lanters and watermelons.

This is the first time I have grown anything. I am very excited. I love BHM and am happy to have found a fourm. I have already looked around and even shared a bread recipe.
