My family is fairly new to the ideas of self-sufficiency, but we're trying. :) We recently moved from a cookie-cutter house on a small bit of land to a tiny house on 3/4 of an acre, large enough to allow us to begin to use self-sufficiency ideas. We're in the process of getting our first dog, and I'm doing research into what's needed for a chicken coop, and then, who knows. :)

When I had my first chicken coop I used an old tool shed that was at my sisters house. Worked great and is still standing.
