Hey all,
My wife and I have seen the writing on the wall, and are just starting to prepare for what's coming.
We are mid-30s, no kids. I'm an RN so I have a good steady job.
Here's the rub: we're in an apartment in a huge complex in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon. We got a late start on life, and have a little bit of savings but nowhere near enough to get a house and some land.
Whatever's coming, I think it will get here before our living arrangement changes significantly. So we're going to be facing it in an apartment in the suburbs, unless we've got several years before TSHTF.
I'm reading everything I can, but we're just getting started and it's hard to know where to begin. I've got tons of questions, but my first one is this: is there already a guide for people in our situation? If so, I'd greatly appreciate a link.
Looking forward to getting to know y'all, learning, and hopefully being able to help others as well.
