Hi Y'All,

I drop in here to read once in awhile.
I've never posted an intro here. I'm not even real sure I'll be Welcomed. But, We'll see.

First off I'm a harmless old guy, tolerant of nearly everyone's POV.
I grew up in the Country, Franklin County, IN, on a small
farm, 60acres. oldest of 9.
I moved to INDPLS, for work in '66.
After 37 yrs at Ford. I retired and DSW & I moved back to Rural Indiana, on 13 acres w/a 1 acre pond. Big difference in a 1/2 acre suburban lot in a rach/style.

And, Well........I don't have just a whole lot in Common, with the Average Homesteader. Guess I'm spoiled by 37 yrs. of suburban living

See, I'm a Middle-of-the-Road, politically, Non-PC, Assertive Heathen, Strictly-Hetero, White, Retired Auto-Worker, living a comfortable life, in the Country, paying a mortgage, trying to be Environmentally Friendly.

I am Proud of MY Folk and OUR Achievments.
I Believe in Diversity. I do not believe we are all the same, or all alike.
I do NOT Hate anyone. I Believe each of us should be Proud of OUR Folkways!

Oh, yeah, I am a NON-Christian. I do NOT Hate them either. Some of my Best Friends & Family are Christian.
I have some of my best discussions with Christians.

I have a very good, finely tuned, B/S Meter. I'm a little paranoid about a few things. But, not to the point that I have to wear a Tinfoil hat.
Conversation/Chatting is one of my strong points. I can have an interesting chat with anyone who wants to bother, as long as they don't hit me in the head with their intelligence & superior ideas/ideals.

Guess I really don't "fit-in" real well, a Lot of places.
But, I do manage to stay tolerant with Most Folks, whether I agree
with their Politics, Religion, Life-Style Choices or Gender Orientation.
Oops, I don't mean to step on toes.
I really am "Tolerant and Non-Controversial" about nearly everything, as long as I don't have to defend "who I am". I'm not very tolerant of Folks that think everyone has to Believe the same thing.

Our Place had sat empty for abour 3 or 4 years and has required a lot of work/sweat equity & a bit of cash to
get it in shape. It's kinda my Retirement Project & Home.

Hey, I've never been kicked off anyones List/Forum or Club. I've left a few though.

I have been reading BWH since before we moved out to the Country. DSW buys an Anthology for me, every birthday & Yule, each year.

I don't post a lot. But I read several forums regularly.
I also like HT, TH, TFL and THR. I spend too much time on the "net".

And that's all about me. I know there are a lot of Hoosiers here. I'm in SW Central Indiana, not far from Bloomington.
Y'all Take care. Have a good weekend.
Live deliberately.
