Don't see the small farmers falling into the trap unless they're new to the country life.
However those big many thousand acre farms with monoculture that get LOTS of GVT subsidies, they know where there bread is buttered.
You're in South MO right? I'm sure you'll be glad to know you've got big farms in your area that get subsidies for cotton and rice...heehee, how much cotton and rice GROWING around your area?
There is a website out there that lists all the farms that receive subsidies and the amounts, by county and by subsidy. I CANNOT for the life of me remember how I found it or what it is named. But I now know which of my neighbors is fooling and screwin' the gvt by not living up to mowing, planting etc. on subsidized crop land. pretty sickening.
Anyway, sign up for the "census" and you'll be sorry you did. It's the GVT using STUPID people to turn themselves in.
