I'm in Alberta, too.... been here all my life.

Our mosquitoes aren't bad this year due to the late frost but if you need a homemade 'squito repellant recipe there's lots to find online... I've been using one for the last two years. it seems to work better than anything we've bought... maybe it's just all the garlic we eat...
