Greetings from a South Floridian Retiree

I was lured to Backwoodshome.com via searching the net for information about setting up a solar power system. I was searching for info about either Gel or AGM battery-banks. I would like to set up some solar power before August, when the probability is higher for having our power knocked out by a hurricane. I also intend to use Solar Power on a daily basis. But, enough about that here on this "greetings" thread.

It looks like a great forum and WebSite, with a bunch of interesting topics, and a great group of knowledgeable and friendly members. I am happy about finding this forum by accident, and hope to learn a lot here.
