Welcome to the forum, moshrash! Do we really have a rule that says you have to post within 48 hours?! I did not know that.

New Mexico is a beautiful state. Do you think you'd stay there or go somewhere else (warmer, colder?) There's lots of people here to ask questions about their neck of the woods!

Hi CarolAnn...nice to meet you! Yeah, New Mexico is beautiful, and is mecca for great food too. I'm kind of partial to northern Arizona...i worked in Grand Canyon for 5 years, and Flagstaff for a couple, and fell in love with that area....but I've been in Albuquerque for close to 15 years now.

...I can find something to love about almost any geographical region, I suppose.....

Greetings from AR, Mark! You look like John Prine. As I type, I'm jamming to Prime Prine. Sam Stone to be exact. Great to meet ya!

My mother introduced me to this great place. Now, she won't tell who she is. If you come back with a Goose Creek Symphony or Flying Burrito Brothers album, I'm gonna freak, man. *8)

"Moonshine is not as clear as water. I guess that's why it makes you high. Whipoorwills are calling up the holler, ..." . Can you finish it??

actually been bugging me all day....seems very familiar.... but you got me stumped....so a wild ass guess: Commander Cody?

..anyway, I've never heard of Goose Creek Symphony, and barely familiar with the Flying Burrito Brothers...what do you recommend?....

...btw, a bit of a headbanger the past several years(see username)...but I love that southern influence in my music even still....

The lyrics? They're from an old (one of my fave) GCS song. I highly recommend this band. Waylon even had a hand in thier start-up. The FBBs later became, simply, the Burrito Brothers. Their hit was White Line Fever, written by Merle Haggard but rocked up slightly. Gram Parsons was a Burrito. If you like the Eagles, you'll like either of these bands. GCS is a tad more Bluegrass oriented, though.
I like everything from Grandpa Jones to Judas Priest so, I hope I never bore you. :)

I think Commander Cody did Hot Rod Lincoln. Or was that Asleep At The Wheel? Or both?
Dang-it! You're making me think! ;D
Alice Cooper has really done some great stuff lately. Kind of a return to the bands original 'garage band' sound.
