New from Texas

I have been lurking around for awhile, but I decided it was time to register and perhaps post on occasion. I live in North Texas and hope in the future to move to my part of the 200 acre family land. I have a garden in the yard, and picked 10 or 11 tomatoes today and a few peaches. ;D

I do have much to learn though, I have been picking the brain of my grandmother who was born in Oklahoma in 1930.

Welcome, East Texas here and I am so jealous that you have tomatoes already. Although, I must admit that we didn't move back till mid Feb and started our 'maders from seed then.

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad that you've decided to join. Congrats on the tomatoes and peaches! We had a social at church tonight and someone made homemade peach ice cream...simply delicious :D
