Well I'm a 25 year old, living in the state of Vermont. Been here for most of my life, not planning on leaving anytime soon.

I'm an amateur bladesmith, always been interested in the "old" ways. Over the past few years I've really come to yern for a simpler life. I imagine it stems from my utter disrespect for most authority figures. I've had many a boss, yet all seemed to be for the most part clueless.

I'm often time called a know it all, yet I never claim such. This most likely stems from my hatred for those that spread false information, those that instead of checking the facts choose to pass it on without even a thought. I'm not one to sit and let a person rattle on about something I know false, I've no problem interjecting.

My hobby's are, Reading, WoW, Thinking, Hiking, Camping and a lot more.

I'm an Athiest, and I make no attempt to hide it, as some do. I'd rather stick to my beliefs than give in just to fit into a group. I'm not one to go around telling people that do believe in a God that they are wrong, to each their own is my motto. I might not respect the religion, but I respect personal choice.

Hi FZRaven,

Welcome to the forum! It's always nice to see new people joining....more opportunities to learn. :)

I am in the beginning stages of learning about homesteading, self-sufficiency, etc...and I'm almost 11 years older than you. I've definitely got some catching up to do ;D

I'm a Christian, and I don't hide it ;). We come from different ends of the spectrum regarding religious/spiritual beliefs, but I'm convinced we can learn from one another as we travel this path toward prepardness and self-sufficiency. I'm looking forward to getting to know you, and all the others here who have so many insights to share.
