Hi Y'all, My name is C.J. and I am new here! I live in Northern Nevada, I have 2 horses, 20 chickens, 2 dogs, a huge garden and 6 kids, 7 if ya count the hubby!! Looking forward to more chickens of different variety and possibly goats this season as well!

I belong to several forums and joined this one to get a recipe from jackie for home made sweetened condensed milk in a frantic rage to finish a desert!!

I Love making everything home made, sewing, baking, cooking and gardening! I even like working on cars!!
Looking forward to meeting everyone and learning new and exciting things!

As a hubby myself, if you had counted yours among the dogs or the chickens, I might have taken offense and not welcomed you. ;D I still build model airplanes, tho. I like being a kid.

Hi! I am fairly new here too. I haven't posted much but I see you have 6 kids! That is great, you don't see that much any more. I have 8 so far. We also have 50 chickens, a pig, a cow,10 sheep and 12 goats. We live in Oregon. I really love this forum. I am glad you joined.

We moved here from Oregon, Troutdale area! I love it here, no rain!!! Well, a little rain, but not 24/7 lol....I believe my Mom is a member here, I know she was the one that told me about the site but I know she is an avid reader if nothing else!!!
