So glad I found this forum. Just as we all WELCOME a new springtime, I welcome the opportunities to share in this forum in fun, friendships and fond memories and experiences of country living and homesteading. After a long winter it was a wonderful sight to see my first Robin for this spring on 3/11.

I'm guessing from your name that you're originally from W. Va. (?) What part? I was born in Charleston and raised just outside of Cleveland, Oh. in Lorain.

I'm just south of Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Luckily not on one of the flight paths so the planes are not usually loud. 12V I thought you lived really close to where my Aunt lives a little south of Kent. (kinda). I was measuring out a future foundation for an underground cabin down in south eastern Ohio where I would love to live,,, just can't do it yet.

12V, Did you get any of the flooding I saw off the highway? I went to my property down by Marietta with my son Monday. I was surprised at how much was flooded just off the highway.
