Howdy, Y'all!

I'm new here. We have a little homestead in Illinois. I've had several homesteads over the years. We are starting over from scratch with this one. We have horses (hence my screen name), goats (Nubians), and dogs. Once the chicken tractor is built, we'll get chickens again.

I love being as self-sufficient as possible, garden, can, raise fruits, make cheese, etc. I'm into some of the old-time crafts also, such as making soap, spinning, weaving, knitting, etc.

Looking forward to learning here.

welcome fellow illinois- i am in central illinois, have horses, two donkeys getting real close to being 4, a few chickens, make soap and garden. it is nice to see some one from my neckof the woods welcome!
