Hello everyone, I am Bladefrenzy (Steve) I am big into survival and bushcraft as well as knifemaking . My wife and I find ourselves in the empty nest phase of our lives and wish to take advantage of it by living off grid, or reasonably close to that anyway. We are looking at property and plan on building our own home (I am a carpenter/cabinet builder/installer ) We plan on building a steel building for our new home. Any thoughts on homesteading and solar or other alternative power would be a big help to us. Thanks, Steve
