I ran across this website while looking for project ideas for old wooden shipping pallets. Man..what a wealth of information! As far as me, here's a little info:
I'm an US Army vet that served in Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Iraq. I did my last 8 years in the Army with the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) in Fort Drum, NY. I was a paratrooper (Airborne) and I also served all over Europe for several years. After the Army I moved back to Texas, got my Coast Guard certification and Texas Parks and Wildlife guide license and started guiding for a living. It sounds like fun, but believe me it's hard fishing everyday for a living........well, maybe not THAT hard... ;).
Anyways, I just wanted to say Howdy and that I look forward to learning from the other members of the board. Hopefully, I'll be able to put my 2 cents in occassionally. By the way, the "Windknot Flies" handle refers to my fly fishing nick name and the fact that I'm a fly tyer....just incase ya'll were wondering. Take care everyone....
