Hey Ya'll,
My husband and I are and have been working on getting off the grid and becoming self reliant. Thought this might be a good place to get tons of info on how to actually get it done.

Oh, this is just one of th stops. Good to have you here. Be suer to check out the magazine - there's an index of articles. There are also other sites mentioned in the threads in the Energy section: Solar, Water/Wind/Wood/Geothermal , Other Energy Issues. There are also a number of folks living off grid, so you have all sorts of experience to draw on.
