I'm Aimee in SC. My husband and I both still work and rely on the metropolis so to speak, but we live on 26 acres, most of it wooded with a variety of pines and hardwoods. We have a beautiful two acre pond as well. We both have a strong interest in self reliance.
Although we both work in the city and send our oldest to a private school rather than homeschool, we do things a bit differently than most city folk. I bake all of the bread we eat, and love to make things. We really try to keep life simple and natural.
My husband is out dove hunting right now with our 4 year old daughter, and deer season is upon us here in SC.
