Hello from the Pacific Northwest. I work in Law Enforcement and am a prior Infantry officer in the Army. I just decided to start becoming a self sufficient as possible after seeing the behavior of people after a fairly severe windstorm and then a snowstorm up here. I don't think we are too far from some of the behavior that happened during the Katrina situation. I just subscribed to BHM and did that option where I got all the anthologies and am very happy with it. It came super fast and the reading is just great.
I am divorced, against my wishes, but am a very happy father of a sweet 7 year old daughter that I get 1/3 of the time. Those times are the best times of my life! If you have questions as to Tactics, Techniques or Procedures on Close Quarter Combat or on weapons I might be of some use but anything else I am at the very beginning. I am just learning the basics. Right now, I am just starting to develop the supplies to get my family through 2 weeks and will store as much as possible of it in my vehicle. I will be asking many questions and am looking forward to learning. Once my daughter is in college I will moving to a far more rural area in the Pacific Northwest that is close to Canada and Idaho but I am currently in a very urban area. Thanks in advance!
