i am on here hoping to find a sane, safe place to relocate my dwelling (solar,batteries,wood heat). i am looking to buy, lease, or share a small piece of this planet. i am a bright, handy, fit, 43 year old male. i am single right now, hoping to change that too.
i have been searching for property for about three months. mich., tenn, w.v, virginia, ms, kt.in
i am open to all suggestions.

Spring is a perfect time to look for land - the leaves and undergrowth aren't out yet so you can see what's there, and also maybe not get quite so chewed by ticks and chiggers while you walk the land!
When you've got some areas picked out, you might look at them from Google Earth - it's a free program and they're adding new aerial photos all the time. (The satelite photos are interesting, but not as useful as the closer ones from a plane!) I cruise the planet all the time using that program, and zooming in on country land is a good use for it. 8)
