HI
I am an American living in Taiwan and waiting for 3 1/2 years to pass so I can retire. I have a place on 48 acres near Minot ND. I was born an raised in Western Montana but got tired of starving to death and left about 28 years ago. Not a city boy but not farm raised either. I enjoy hunting, fishing, shooting, woodworking and scratching dirt.

We get back to the US twice a year and it's getting harder and harder to return. I don't mind living in Taiwan. In fact it's pretty decent for an American. We have lived overseas for the last 18 years. We've lived in Guangzhou China, Munich and Hannover Germany before here. One good thing about living here is that the people like Americans another is the three Costco's we have here. :D
Peace,
Welcome, and enjoy.

Welcome, MinotBob!
I just looked for Minot on Mapquest and found it's almost by Canada! Cold country up there!
Do you plan on retiring to your land? This is a great place to get ideas for country life!

Welcome Bob!
My sister and brother-in-law are part of a crew building a bio-diesel plant near Minot!
