No this post is not in the wrong section but this little method seems to be the tactic employed today, by usurpers and despots alike whether they are an individual or mob of ignorant extremists bent on impressing their model of the world on others.
We know that the American ideal of freedom is being washed away slowly, covertly, by decades of subverting, seemingly non essential personal/freedoms under the guise of safety or plain laziness toward personal responsibilty.
Most folks are familiar with the fact that when you place a lobster in a pot of boiling water one can hear it scream, although they lack vocal chords and it is only their inards rapidly expanding gas creating the noise, with frogs it is different. Attempting to place live frogs in a pot of boiling water is nearly impossible with out a wire basket, they will attempt to escape making a real mess of things possibly scalding the cuisinaire in the process.
The key here is to get all of your frogs in the pot first, in a "tolerable" envoironment of luke warm water, they will become complacent and docile, and with a deep enough pot w/ lid their escape efforts will be in vain.
Then slowy start to turn up the heat, with in a few minutes it is to late, the quarry is euthanized, subdued, and on their way to being a tasty treat for the consumer.
I believe this is what has been happening to the great experiment that was The Constitution of the united States of America for the last 100 years.
Now today the heat is being turned up, literally, economically, and perpetually by the mass media fear mongering. The frogs sense their doom, enter a huge dose of socialist legislation remanding the state omnipotent and there will be no escape, remonstrance or redress the lid is secure.
Lullaby and good night there seems to be no stopping the anschluss of America into the reverted folds of socialism, liberal fascism and dependence on your freindly government which loves you, or at least all the fruits of your labor.
IMHO of course I could be totally mistaken.
