It looks like I'm going to learn a lot here! I've been reading BHM and a similar magazine on and off for a while. I'm a Jeremiah Johnson wannabe stuck in the city right now, but my wife and I are working on a permanent change. The mountains and forests have always felt like home to me, and so the Rockies feel like a natural choice. We want to work towards self sufficiency as time progresses. We're always trying to do more with less and learn new skills - it seems like everything is preparation to get away these days! Well that's enough, just thought I'd say hi (already posted a question over in the transport section).
