Hello everybody. Been reading this forum for a while & thought I'd like to drop in & talk to ya'll. For introduction, I'm a 50 yr old woman who never quite snapped out of being a hippie (my kids call me an old hippie, probably the sweetest thing those little tykes ever said about me!) I live in a 100+ yr old house on a few acres in L.A.......that's Lower Arkansas. I have too many dogs, I love to garden, read too much, live to mow grass, and any slack time I generally spend camping/kayaking in Upper Arkansas. Good to meet ya'll, be talking to you.

Hi there. A yankee living in tennessee. --nashville, to be exact.
I'd love to be living in the country like *you all, with a garden and animals, etc.
Old lady , living with husband, wonderful daughter and son in law in their converted 2-car garage.
Hadn't planned it that way, but time and tide dictate too *much of my life these days.
Have small herbal garden in yard, love the study of foods and meds in our own backyards, and a million other things.
Married over 62 years, both about 84. Nice to meet all of you. love, alma
modified to add that i am an old hippy, too. Lived in d.c. and worked with civil rights and anti war groups there.
I was over 40 during that most wonderful time of my life.
