I didn't know this Forum existed until just now.
I started reading BWH Mag in the late 1990's (98-99) I still live in the city (Chandler Az) but plan to retire somewhere where I can streach my legs, have a large garden (or small farm) and have a few animals (chickens ect.).
I am 43, been married for almost 20 years. I have a daughter 15 and a son 13.
I was in the US Airforce for four years (1982-86) I was an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist" Which is a fancy way of saying I loaded bombs on F4 and F16 Aircrafts. I was stationed in Iceland for one year and Las Vegas for the rest of my time.
As you can probably figure out by my user name one of my hobbies is making homemade beer. I have been a home brewer for about five years now. I also garden and here in Arizona you can get three harvest from one plot. Right now I am growing Snow peas, Carrots and Broccoli. We just moved into our house about a year ago so the garden is small right now (50 Sq feet) I use the "http://www.squarefootgardening.com/ method.
