A comment, and then a question, please.

I lived in d.c. too long to not believe in conspiracies, and lots of dirty tricks.

Nothing seems to just happen, but are often contrived, and calculated to go right over our heads.

Now, i have thought from the beginning that o'bama, nice guy that he is, has been bought and paid for by economic and political elements that are using him to siphon off the black democratic vote and, thereby, defeat hillary, big time.

There must be something awfully good about her for so much effort to be expended to keep her from gaining the presidency.

Now, if O'bama wins, what about a possible backlash. If he is assassinated, are we going to be plunged into a civil war, the mother of all civil wars.

This could bring our nation to it's knees in one big hurry without a shot being fired from abroad.

We are vunerable to so many kinds of internal warfare, physical, psychological, economic, political, socio-economic factors, etc.

Now, who would profit from our being further divided over so many things that such an event would present to us, in addition to the existing hostile climate that already seems to surround us.

There is no doubt in my mind that hillery would win big time with the usual black democratic vote, if some powers-that-be had not siphoned off that vote in a very clever way

I hope o'bama is safe if he is elected over hillery. He is most likely a patsy, and in great danger as far as i can make out, all things being equal.

Tell me that this can not possibly happen in america, 2008 after all the years of our struggle for civil rights during the 60s, before and since.

In this integrated society, so many of my family and friends are black, and the thought terrifies me, much like peak oil and a few other things, like cancer, for instance.

We live in very perilous times. If it isn't one thing, it is another.

I would like to see our national resources used to defeat the terrors among us, namely cancer and other life threatening diseases , rather than to take vibrant life abroad in war, and our infra structures strengthened. *

God only knows that our people here in tenn with the natural disasters that have visited us this weekend, and in so many other places in the u.s. in recent years,
our people *need all the help they can get to rebuild, from nature's wrath here, rather than our tearing down and rebuilding in other nations abroad.

Isn't mother nature doing enough?
Maybe mother nature is trying to tell us something . love, alma

--and now on t.v. they are saying obama is like a cult leader, and it sure seems that entirely too many people worship him the same as i he were.
If and when that hope is dashed, i thnik we could all visit shtf a lot sooner than we think, among other things that could beset us.
I haven't read about the possible pandemic yet, but we sure live in perilous times, and i don't think ANY candidate for president can save us from our ignorance of the machines that run them ALL, among other scarey things that seem to be looming on the horizon. love, alma.

Dear alma, I have said from the beginning that Obama is a red herring, a patsy, or a target, nothing more. The Dems will not elect him... they can't. There is already talk among certain quiet groups about 'a black man for President - will not happen'. I don't care if he was Colin Powell (whom I deeply admire) I know this - any black man who tries to be President will be thwarted. If he is not he will surely die. You are right, that would cause serious shtf consequences. And maybe that is the plan, not crippling Hillary.

No, I'm not buying into the whole Great Conspiracy Theory or the 12 men manipulating all the world, but people who don't think any further than their own noses or own limited lifestyles are setting this man up... and perhaps with his full knowledge. I personally believe that there will be a pre-election assassination attempt (successful or not) on Obama, which will cause such a huge backlash furor as to get Hillary elected.

" I personally believe that there will be a pre-election assassination attempt (successful or not) on Obama, which will cause such a huge backlash furor as to get Hillary elected."

Not to be snarky but is this some wishful thinking out there in
voter land?

Nope. I just know how people think, react, and emotionally respond.

No buck it's not wishful thinking , unlike most liberals , the conservatives are more in tune with reality and the people. We know what it takes to make a decision and stick with it. We are not willing to sell out our country and we are willing to stand up and fight for our freedoms as apposed to asking our gooberment to support us in everything we do. Buck I have a question for you. Have you ever done any real military time in any war?
