Here's my intro...
I'll try to keep it short. *Anything more you'd like to know, just ask.
I live in the coastal mountains of California, on a dirt road beyond the reach of the "grid". *My water comes from a spring.
I am a widow now (after 30 years of marriage) and I have 3 grown daughters who watch out for me.
I make my living by gardening and by weaving tapestries that I sell.
Life in the mountains can be hard sometimes but I get by with faith, hard work, and a smile.
Oh, by the way, my name really isn't Ronda. When I was a kid, my best friend and her family planted that name on me (long story). *I always liked it.
I hope to meet some new friends here....see ya...

Nice to meet all you good people. I'm not able to reply very often because I keep my computer at my mother's house. I just couldn't keep the phone line functioning, what with the rats chewing it and all the other things that happen to a mile and a half of wire strung through the trees and along the ground. :P so... I'm here only once or twice a week.
Annie, Are there more of us around? "Wilderness Widows"? lol I have a humble garden, just the basics, (tomatoes, peas, beans, cukes, squash, strawberries) I also have some fruit trees and some grapes. Here, where I live it doesn't rain in the summer so everything has to be watered which can get to be a big job. Not too bad tho...we have very manageable weather.
